Instructors

Montana von FlissMontana von Fliss is a proud Seattle native and has been an actor, teacher, and director locally and abroad for years. After college Montana taught acting and ESL (English as a Second Language) in Spain and Japan to people of all ages. As an actor, she was seen most recently in The Three Musketeers at Seattle Repertory Theatre. She has performed internationally in Berlin, Barcelona, and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Montana is also a writer, and has been workshopping her new solo show for a full production next season. She is a member of the vaudeville troupe Le Royal Famille DuCaniveaux and is an associate member of Washington Ensemble Theatre. She holds a master’s degree from the University of Washington Professional Actor Training Program.

Drian Denmar JonesBrian Denmar Jones, conservatory instructor, will be enjoying his first summer with ICTF Summer Conservatory. His previous teaching experience includes various Suzuki/Viewpoint workshops with Village Theatre and the Steve Tompkins Studio, Studio East, Seattle Theatre Group. He’s taught his own acting studio with the University of Washington School of Drama for a full year as part of his 3-year MFA training in the PATP. Brian has also taught with Stone Soup Theatre and Seattle Children’s Theatre as part of their summer children’s camp, and was an apprentice with Seattle Children’s earlier this year.

His favorite theater credits include, Twelfth Night, Hamlet, She Stoops To Conquer, Gurgius’ Our Lady of 121st Street, Les Miserables, La Cage Aux Folles, Songs For A New World, Joseph and the Amazing… (Taproot Theatre), and most recently Chasing Nicolette (Village Theatre).

Brian is also working on creating his own Acting/Movement Studio in the greater Seattle Area, and volunteers his time with the Seattle Men’s Chorus and co-teaches free drop-in Suzuki/Viewpoints classes at the UW.

Anne AllgoodAnne Allgood, conservatory instructor,  happily joins the faculty here at Icicle Creek after having acted at the Festival two seasons ago.  Anne’s acting, singing, and teaching career has spanned several decades and has taken her to 49 states (you’re next, Alaska) and 12 countries!  On Broadway, Anne has appeared in CAROUSEL, THE MOST HAPPY FELLA, THE SOUND OF MUSIC, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, and IMAGINARY FRIENDS.  She has toured nationally and internationally in EVITA, PARADE, FLOYD COLLINS, SOUTH PACIFIC, and URINETOWN, THE MUSICAL.  She has appeared at many of the nation’s premiere regional theatres from coast to coast, and is one of the leading players of Seattle’s theatre community, joining productions with every major company in the area – in diverse offerings from Shakespeare and Stoppard, to Sondheim and Styne. Offstage, she loves to knit, bake, and spend time outdoors.

Gin HammondGin Hammond, recently nominated for an AUDELCO award, received her MFA from the American Repertory Theatre Institute at Harvard University/Moscow Art Theatre School. She has performed nationally at theatres such The Guthrie, Arena Stage, The Longwharf Theatre, Seattle’s ACT, The Pasadena Playhouse, the ART, The Berkshire Theatre Festival and The Studio Theatre in Washington D.C., where she won a Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Lead Actress for her performance of The Syringa Tree. Internationally, she has performed in Russia, Germany, Ireland, Scotland and England. Ms. Hammond also received a Kathleen Cornell award, and grants from Allied Arts and the NEA.

Deb FialkowDeb Fialkow Credits include Rock n Roll, Jekyll & Hyde, The Women, Enchanted April,Woman in Black, and Alki at ACT Theatre, Arizona Theatre Company’s Macbeth, Seattle Shakespeare Company’s Servant of Two Masters, Comedy of Errors, Cyrano de Bergerac, As You Like It (Rosalind). Other area theatre credits include The Shakespeare Stealer and Johnny Tremain with the Seattle Childrens Theatre and Terra Nova at Tacoma Actors Guild. Deborah hasal so been seen at the Empty Space,Open Circle Theatre, theatre simple, Consolidated Works, Annex and Aha! Theatres. Deb has been a fight director & stage combat teacher for Wooden O, Cornish College, Seattle Shakespeare Company, University of Washington PATP, University of Puget Sound, Bellevue College, Everett Community College, 5th Ave. Theatre, Whitman College.Seattle Opera’s YAP, ACT, Tacoma Actors Guild, Sun Valley Center for the Arts, Baba Yaga, A Theatre Under the Influence, Theater Schmeater, Annex and Open Circle Theatres, Lakewood Players, Bush School, and Capital Hill Arts Center. She has taught at Created and coordinated the Seattle Sockeye Stage Combat Workshop. Voice & video work includes the KCTS for PBS series Exploring Space: The Quest for Life;
LUNA Film & Video Productions documentary film Finding Thea, and Greg Palmer’s 30 min TV special “They Fight”. She is a member of the Steering Committee for 14/48: the world’s quickest theatre festival.
